Whilst I can completely understand the seen to protect the school from further attack and harassment by publicising the name and religion, I only hope that they've made other wizard parents in that school aware of what has happened. If the teacher's memory has been erased, then it's quite possible that something similar could happen again. At the very least there is a chance that he might punish other accidental outbursts. [Private] Werewolves, beatings, it does make you keenly aware of all of the dangers to children out in the Muggle world. I can't imagine how worried parents must be in such a case. But it all makes me kind of glad that I'll probably never have children,

YES! I know, it's horrible, dreadful that the World Cup had to be moved, not to mention all of those poor people. Yet, I'm really glad it's coming here.

I just realised I haven't written in here since the New Year. Been trying to keep up with everything, woks been busy as usual, though not exceptionally so. I think I prefer it that way, makes the day pass a little faster. I'm not sure I would enjoy a shift with little to do. It happens on occasion, of course. Then, the latest events just seem too horrible to consider. Nundu, werewolves? What else is next Dragons and Sphinxes? I sincerely hope not. Those poor people.

I hope everyone's had a Happy Christmas. Not a very eventful one here, though I did manage to have Christmas Eve off. Ended up working Christmas Day, but at least I got to have Christmas dinner with family. Boxing Day was spent visiting my gran with the rest of the family showing up for the day. It's one of the few days we get everyone together, and it's always so surprising how much everyone's grown. I don't see my muggle cousins all that often, so it's a good time to catch up. Granted, I can't often understand half of what they're going on about, but I digress.

It's been a good day so far, even if mum made a point of waking me up at six this morning by sending Agrippa. At last it was with cake, which I am starting to think how all days should start. It does make it that little bit more bearable. Not that I have anything against morning, it' the perfect time to go for a run, and I quite enjoy the crisp air, but I do also thoroughly enjoy my bed. Nothing much planned this evening but hopefully something on the weekend. Of course I have to find some time to go to the polls, hopefully there's time in the morning, I forgot to check when they're opening.

Found a lovely advent calendar in a shop yesterday. I suppose it's little childish, but it's one of those traditions I don't see myself foregoing. I'm claiming some wall space in the kitchen, Ant, sorry! Nothing else to really report, works keeping me busy as per usual, though I quit like it this way. At least I needn't worry about being bored.

It's been quite a busy few weeks, and I'm just coming around to writing in here. There isn't really much to update, all things considered. I have started my Christmas shopping a bit early, a bit hypocritical I know, considering I really don't think shops should have Christmas displays this early, but then it's impossible to shop for my mother. Oh, and a very Happy Birthday Padma and Parvati.

It was a bit chilly this morning when I went on my run, but it hasn't been too bad lately. I usually prefer the cooler weather when running, it helps ensure I don't overheat in the process. Still, I hope it stays like this for a bit. It gets a bit more difficult when we start having snow and ice on the ground. Of course, if it's anything like last year, I won't have to worry too much about that until after the winter hols, if at all. Though I really hadn't intended on going on and on about the weather. There's little else I can discuss at the moment, works the same as usual. Halklowe'en's coming up though and i am rather looking forward to it. Actually, I'd meant to ask, do we get a lot of kids, Ant? Still have to pick up some sweets for the day. Congratulations, Cormac! I heard the good news.

We're back! Greece was brilliant, though I could really have done with some better potions to save myself from burning too badly. I don't think I've ever seen that much sun in my entire life. I clearly need to get out a bit more often. Of course I come back just in time to see the arguing over the kiss. Honestly, I'm surprised it's even an issue. The kiss hasn't been used in ages and for a very good reason. Having said that, I'm glad I don't have to make the decision.

Officially on holiday We're not leaving for a bit, but I'm all packed, and I really can't wait to go. It'll be a brilliant break, I just know it.

Less than a week to go! I'm quite looking forward to a proper break. [Kevin] Do you suppose we'll get in trouble for venturing out into muggle Greece? I know it sounds like a stupid question, but you never know. [Private] I kind of feel like I'm not allowed an opinion on this topic. The last week or so has been such a headache. I want to see how Padma's doing, but I imagine she's had enough bother. Then the Death Eaters...

What a headache. On a much brighter note: Greece! I cannot wait, it'll be brilliant. I've already made a list of all of the places we'll have to visit, thought I'm not sure we'll really get to go to all of them. I hope you don't mind, Kevin. It's just been ages since I've been on holiday, and Greece! I hope some people speak English, I picked up a guidebook on the weekend, as well as a phrase book, but I'm not sure I'll have everything memorised in time.

Three separate people have mentioned to me now about Death Eaters running lose. Is there some article I've missed? I checked the Prophet, but there was nothing in there. On another, lighter and nowhere near as worrying note, my holiday request has been approved, so it looks like we're on, Kev. Did we decide yet where we're going? I think it was still a toss up.

There's something quite calming about spending an afternoon nestled in the living room as the rain sounds outside the windows. I'm finally getting through my books as well. Just started on last Christmas' lot, and they're quite enjoyable really, though I should have expected as much.

What a week, and it's barely half over. Hopefully things will calm a bit, but I'm not holding my breath. The weekend is coming up and they tend not to be slow. Still, Hengist day coming up, and that should be entertaining, i think I might be able to make it out for some festivities. I don't think I've ever seen anything so ridiculous and disgusting in my life. I suppose it's what I deserve for even bothering to look at the thing in the cafeteria this afternoon. Other than that, settling in quite well to new role, though hours haven't improved much, not that I really expected much else. At least they're not really giving me the graveyard shifts. Though knowing my luck, that's not likely to last long. [Private] I haven't been sleeping much lately, and I can't help but think it may have something to do with Morag and everything else that's been going on around here. I could blame work, I suppose, but at least there I don't have to think about things, and with no one to talk to I - well I've been seeing the sort of things people say about Morag, and I can't help but wonder what would be said about me? I don't think Daniel could ever say a good thing about me ever, and my friends? it's almost like I'm loosing my friends, I mean I barely talk to anyone outside of work anymore, and Ant and I just pass each other

So... the Weekly came out and I don't give a toss because... I'VE PASSED!! Though I will admit, it's odd that they keep confusing Padma for Parvati. And apparently they're now soliciting dates? Ant I would not recommend that you open the one that smells of peppermint. Same goes for you, Justin.
